I have a few ranks in plumbing and landscape, but most of my ranks are in electronics-Communications and as of late: Electrical- residential and commercial and later late: I slipped an extra rank in factory work - light assembly.

I just hit level 3 and grabbed skill focus (paper pusher) as my feat...

@Scott - in one of the bathrooms, after my initial copper sweating attempts leaked like a sieve, (due to the use of a water soluble flux, which sucks @ss.) I used some pex tubing with sharkbite connectors -- worked great, but I was a little worried that they might leak later, so I put in an access panel, so I can check on them in time.

S@s, I'm in the process of remodeling my master bathroom right now, and I've been thinking about using the Sharkbites to convert from copper to PEX. Would you recommend them based on your experience with them? I mean, I'm not the greatest plumber (I suck at sweat joints) which is why I'm considering this route.

Thanks Dewar. I have the same fears as S@s, that they might leak inside the wall at some point in the future. I guess if I use them, I'll have to do the access panel thing too.

@rhun: The sharkbites are so easy to use, its scary. I was so stressed out after my initial copper sweating leaked like a sieve that I thought about calling a plumber, but then read online about the sharkbites. I used them and was amazed. I'd recommend at the bare minimum having a few of the stop fittings on hand at all times just so you can quickly stop a leak on a pipe. I read about how the plumbing community does not like them (because of their ease of use) and how that copper sweated joints are better, because sharkbites have had a few leaks reported after years of use, but then again, if copper sweated joints never leaked, why would the plumbers still be employed? If I didn't get the sweating process right on bathroom #2, I'd be using sharkbites again and again, but I like the whole FIRE FIRE FIRE thing with the torch and solder.

I'm pretty sure it is. Unfortunately.

stonegod was looking to finish off his 3.5e games, Rhun's super busy right now so even if I did start he might not be able to join, our errant knight Voadam is outta action as well... without 3 of the group it's probably better to put it to rest. At least you guys defeated the green dragon!

It's amazing how much the power level increased as a result of the books published since that module was released. Book of 9 swords, Magic Item/Spell Compendiums, etc. all had so many good options it was really tough to even challenge you guys. I had to bump up most encounters.

I do want to say that I really enjoyed the PC's though, but the effort for me to DM that is more than 2 or possibly even 3, 4e games unfortunately. Having the monster builder has spoiled me :(

I may (or may not) try to convert it to 4e at some point... perhaps if anyone's interested I can try and run it with the same PCs from the point where you are? Most would convert fairly easily...I see Rhun's PC as being the hardest to convert...although I think him and you are firmly in the not a fan of 4e camp right?
