Converting Dark*Matter Creatures

Well, first off, the conversion chart gives us the following ability scores:
  • Str 21, Dex 16, Con 22, Int 17, Wis 14, Cha 14.
The mental ability scores seem a bit low for a demon lord, but I'm not sure. Are there any hags or hag-like demons of sufficiently high level to glean data from?

Also, I'm thinking that since Chernobog only has slightly less prowess than Baal-phegor, we might give it somewhere between 28-30 HD.

Finally, it seems to be Medium-sized, although I could go with its natural hag-form being size Large if persuaded.

Those abilities are all way too low. I'd boost them all by 5-10 points, if not more.

Alright, how does this ability score array sound?

Str 26, Dex 22, Con 30, Int 24, Wis 21, Cha 22.

Better, but I'm not sure if it's enough.

If this thing is really a Demon Prince shouldn't it be at least as tough as a Balor (Str 35, Dex 25, Con 31, Int 24, Wis 24, Cha 26)?

It's more a spells and curses kind of demon than a physical foe like a Balor, so I'd keep those physical stats and increase the mental ones. Maybe another 3-7 points each?

Str 26, Dex 22, Con 30, Int 27, Wis 25, Cha 29 ?

Chernobog, or "the Dark God", is a powerful demon whose base form is that of an old hag draped in decaying riches. Reeking of aged wealth and clad in moldering jewels and fineries of times past, she cares little for mortals unless they can advance her schemes. In the past, the fiery elohim Bielbog imprisoned her beneath the earth in what her cultists believe was a cowardly preliminary strike. To the cultists of Chernobog, there must be an absolute evil to balance out absolute good, and they have organized attempts to create an exoplosion big enough to rip open their deity's prison. While their first attempt to create such a disaster in Chernobyl ultimately failed to free Chernobog, she still finds use in the Final Church as a tool for her eventual return to Earth.

Species Traits
Foul Miasma (Su): The tainted aura of Chernobog brings ill omen and despair to those that fall into its presence. Any creature within 30 feet of Chernobog faces being stricken with a supernatural disease that rots the body and poisons the mind (Fort save DC 36 negates; incubation period 1 day; primary 1d8 Constitution, secondary 1d8 Wisdom). A remove curse or break enchantment spell followed by a remove disease spell can cure the victim. A Knowledge (Arcane Lore) check (DC 35) can also uncover methods of treating the toxin through medical means, allowing the character to make a Treat Injury check at the same DC.

Subjugate Outsider (Su): Once a month, Chernobog can enslave an unwilling outsider as a full-round action. This works as per the subjugate outsider incantation.

Summon Fiends (Sp): Once per day, Chernobog can automatically summon 1d4 nightcrawlers as a full-round action.

Alternate Form (Su): Chernobog can assume the form of any female Humanoid or Monstrous Humanoid size Medium or smaller as a standard action. It can remain in this alternate form until it chooses to assume a new one or return to its natural form.

Hellfire (Su): Three times per day, Chernobog can release a hellish gout of infernal flame. This is a 50-foot cone that deals 8d6 points of fire damage and 8d6 points of unholy damage. Creatures with an allegiance to Evil only take 8d6 fire damage, but a creature with an allegiance to good instead takes 8d10 fire damage and 8d10 unholy damage. A successful Reflex save (DC 36) halves damage. Either way, the target must make a Fortitude save (same DC) or suffer writhing agony as per Sigil of Algos.

Chernobog In Dungeons and Dragons
Environment: Hades
Treasure: Double Standard
Alignment: Neutral Evil

Chernobog is treated as a "mother" of sorts to the night hags, who worship her alongside Cegilune. Sigil of Algos works as per Symbol of Pain. Replace Chernobog's Knowledge skills with Knowledge (Arcana) and Knowledge (The Planes), replace Treat Injury with Heal, and Craft (Chemical) with Craft (Alchemy).

Mostly looks ok, though I'm not sure what abilities you're using. Also, I'm not sure 10d6 is enogh damage for the Hellfire.

Yes, 10d6 is definitely too piddly a damage. I'd suggest adding some nasty additional effects, such as pain or madness (as per the symbols?), ability drain or a curse, rather than simply upping the damage.

Also, defence 23 is very low. Most Demon Princes have ACs much higher than that!

Well, the Foul Miasma might be another place to put symbol-like effects. I'd like to up the damage and put some extra rider on the hellfire, maybe (but we should probably change the name if there's an additional effect).

Agreed on the AC!
