As Haruka speaks, her tattoos stretch and widen, covering her entire right hand and forearm with their oily blackness. From beneath this, her fingers extend into remarkably sharp-looking talons. She grins at her adversary, "I think I see a flaw with your plan." Haruka then flicks out with her ebon claws, carving a deep gash across his arm.

Ashir draws his staff as a crash of thunder erupts from the genasi, his eyes crackle with arcane energy as the terrible wound continues to leak his lifeblood. "Rocco, Dante, let's finish them quickly, I worry about our friends" Ashir says, slashing his staff in a horizontal swipe, blasts of lightning emanate from the implement. The bolts strike into the assassin and the devil.

I'll be nice and I assume you didn't completly miss with the shield and it didn't go overboard. It's at B3.

And your surges are 11, not 10 so that was 13 hp.

The fight is brutal and blood is flowing freely.

Max falls to a bolt of fire from the Vizier while the Succubus decide that she is better blowing a kiss toward the mage this time. Ashir resists her no better than Rocco. In a moment he wonders why he did something so cruel as trying to hurt this beautiful creature. Would she ever forgive him? If he hurst the nasty dwarf and the mean human, maybe, and so Ashir does just that, trying to elctrecute them both.

Not necessary to give max back the AP. He's rolled less than a 4 on all his attacks thus far. He deserves to be knocked out.


Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't a "throwing" shield (something max purchased in town before this adventure) return to Max after he throws it at a target? If the shield would have hit, it has a daily power that would have pushed the target one square. The square Max would have chosen is the one where there is no boat under the assassin's feet. Hence, gravity would have taken over, sending the assassin to a watery grave. That would have reduced the number of foes attacking him from 2 to 1.

I forgot to mention that max had a feat that gives him a +3 to attack roll when using an AP. It wouldn't have helped. I blame it all all Iron Sky :) I now suffer the dreaded low roll bug as well. Hopefully I can roll well on save vs death...here it goes...wish me luck...

I plan on living forever. Or die trying.
Could Rocco get adjacent to succubus and vizier without getting prone with athletics check (to get from quarter deck to G2 in a single move (jump down or climb or whatever)) and attack - the idea being Jeronimo like jump crashing Vizier into the water and pulling succusbus to G3 (Funneling Fury)

I don't think so because of difficult terrain, just checking.

Also, does Rocco have one axe out due to domination?
