First Post
Hi everyone, I want to test my design skills by trying to do an OGL Supers fan book. I will heavily draw from the OGL material in the d20 modern SRD, the anime d20 SRD, and Mutants and Masterminds 2nd.

Please vote in what kind of book you would be interested.

EDIT: In response to this thread, I will start 2 other ones (one pending)

what if there was a d20 modern but pathfinder? some of the modern things I do not neccessarily like , for example basing the class on the actual stat, rather thenm an actual class.

perhaps I may not fully understand how the modern system works and I need to be rewritten, which is perfecty plausible!

Would a classless variant also be fine?

Something for Pathfinder. I'm a fan. :)

Superhero powers for Pathfinder or a modern d20 rules set with Pathfinder changes and superpowers?

A classless varient? would you mean skill and feat based only? X ranks per level + a feat every X levels?

What is wanted most...

I personally thought of giving a certain amount of 'Building Points' / level to purchase skills, feats, (talents,) and powers.

that makes sense. I am liking this train of thought. I shall choo on this in the engine of my mind, before I think on how rail against it.

So, compatible with MM2 takes the lead, but d20 mode is close...

True 20 seems to far away and 'Pathfinderization' has only 3 votes...

Perhaps I should explain what elements of Pathfinder I would like to introduce to

A) MM2
- CMB / CMD (with CHANGES, of course); Hero Points (the MM2 ones are not OGC); Condensed skill list, based on the original list; including some rules of later supplements to the 'base' rules; looking at the new official edition and cherry pick some compatible changes; keep trait names

B) d20 modern (in addition to power rules)
- CMB / CMD; Hero Points (to 'replace' action points); Condensed skill list, based on the original list; including some rules of later supplements to the 'base' rules; feat changes (Toughness, ...); class skill system; feat frequency
