For the 12th level version, add GWF (greatsword), Trample, Cleave, Greater Weapon Specialization (greatsword)? Cleave is the one I'm unsure about.

Agreed, something like one of the following:

Attacks #1: +1 frost greatsword* +20 melee (2d6+11/19-20 plus 1d6 cold plus 2d6 vs. good-aligned creatures)
*includes +2 unholy from infernal weapon.

Attacks #2: +1 frost greatsword (with infernal weapon +2 unholy) +20 melee (2d6+11/19-20 plus 1d6 cold plus 2d6 vs. good-aligned creatures)

Not sure which I prefer. Version #1 is more compact, #2 is more explicit. You pays your money and you makes your choice.

Oh heck, I'll back #1 for the sake of argument.

I like the feats (except Cleave). How about either Rapid Shot, Improved Critical (lance), or Weapon Focus (lance)?
 


I'm wondering if we shouldn't add Mounted Archery at the lower levels, ahead of some of the other mounted feats...

Anyway, I definitely recommend adding that feat for the Marshal. It gets two more.

It's not smart enough for Combat Expertise and the other feats in that chain. :(

Why not swap Mounted Archery and Rapid Shot?

That would work, but I'd actually like to see it even earlier. Perhaps replace Spirited Charge when it first appears, then add the rest of that chain in later?

8th: Improved Critical (greatsword), Improved Sunder, Mounted Archery, Mounted Combat, Point-Blank Shot, Power Attack, Ride-By Attack, Weapon Focus (greatsword), Weapon Specialization (greatsword)

For skills, we're working from the rather-limited Fighter list. Shall we just max out Intimidate and Ride at each level, and use the remainder for cross-class Listen and Spot? Or should we mix in some Handle Animal (a class skill for fighters) as well?
