Aww, goodbye Strategist's Epiphany. That one's getting retrained out first chance I get.

Mostly good stuff, though. Animal Master companions now at least get scaling defenses, even if they're paste going up against anything with a damaging aura.

Wow, this just came up in a game my group played on Wednesday night! The 2nd level group's Swordmage used this to grant the entire group an initiative result of 18 (a below-average roll). Only one character in the party beat that result (with a 26 - a thief that rolled 19). Everyone else got a substantial boost out of it. And this is a party of 6 with 3 high-dex strikers; two Thieves and a Ranger, with modifiers of +8, +7, and +6 respectively.

I can certainly see why it's getting nerfed, but I could still see it being "you and one ally in the burst," or even, "You or one ally in the burst."

I can't access the errata from work, but I'm guessing the Epiphany was changed to just "you"? If so then, yeah, mega nerf. Not necessarily unwarranted but does seem a bit too much of a nerf. As it was though it was a bit overboard imho.

Hooray Spark Slippers nerf! Cheesiest item in the game combined with a solid Controller.

I'm torn on Strategist's Epiphany. It was a daily, and while it often trivialized the encounter where it was used, dailies have a habit of doing that, and it was awesome for it; but at the same time, it was capable of trivializing an entire LFR game if half your table was trained in it.

All in all, not a horrible loss, as it'll just mean more action in some tense moments, and people can still take it for an Init reroll if they want.

White Mage cleric is dead if Pacifist Healer only applies to Healing Word (not that I'm complaining).

I'm excited to see some elements reigned in (strategist winiphany) and other expanded on (hurray Animal Master!), but I feel, after months and months without a proper errata document (other than changing a level 1 item to level 11), this is a little sparse.

Also, I guess we aren't getting another errata for some time so maybe then we'll see actual core mechanics that desperately need fixing get some attentions (scaling, zones, KAM, etc). Or at the very least a design and development article that explains their take on the information given to them by the community when R&D asked for it.

It sometimes feels like someone at WotC has a hard-on for messing with Pacifist Healers.

Ah well, at least Monks got Flurry changed to No Action.

I imagine this is intended to read like the version that was given to us in the final CC Cleric update. Which is that it works on Healing Word AND Divine healing powers in which a character spends a surge and not solely healing word. So this is fine.

Boo! Thumbs Down!

Once more they choose to nerf a perfectly fine item instead of fixing the actual problem. How many more of these changes are we going to have to suffer thru until they fix the slide/zone problem?
Everyone can see the issue, everyone can tell(HAS TOLD) them how to fix it. Just do it already!

...and where the heck is the rest of the document? WotC, you spent 8 months on this? Over half of it is fixes to mistakes you made in the last 2 months? Just what are you spending time on? You only have two more releases in this years schedule, on top of only two in the first half of the year? How hard would it be to sit a couple guys down for a day or two and actually fix the GLARING problems, then lets get down to the "this skill bonus is a power bonus" problems. Of course, if you'd just review the articles BEFORE you posted them......
