I'm curious. What's the difference between Buffy's definition of Stunned and Paralysis?
Both are from the 3.5 PHB.

You can use a standard action to perform mental tasks. It's how Krag the Barbarian does addition. Now a mental action cannot be substituted for a move action nor can it be for a standard action except to cast spells.
Nobody is talking about magic items here. Stunned is a condition because it will not allow you to move, just like the paralyzed condition, nor will it allow you to act. Now a mental action cannot be substituted for a move action nor can it be for a standard action except to cast spells.
Now, since Freedom of Movement protects you from movement impaired effects, including magical effects, then it should allow you to move no matter if you are stunned or paralyzed.

Stunned does not prevent you from moving, it prevents actions. You can still 5 ft step. You can still make attacks of opportunity. Both are not actions.
Since stunned does not restrict you from moving, just from taking actions, freedom of movement does not apply.
Absolutely correct. You can move just as soon as you have a Move action available. Which will happen right after you cease to be Stunned, and not before.Nobody is talking about magic items here. Actually, I believe 5 ft steps are free actions or move actions depending on how you use them.
Not sure about AoO though.
