Mythra's summons absorbed a total of three hits in that last adventure! (four if you count the miss). That is about six and a half PC deaths in the standard renau1g difficulty encounter!![]()
The magma beast was one-shotted (it may have been missed once) but the Dretch fared a little better. The biggest disappointment was when the iron cohort was killed in one hit by a close burst attack (and Mythra got hit!). I think that is summon's biggest weakness, AOEs.Whereas mine, over in L4W, took one hit to kill.

I didn't play enough 3.5 to actually remember where +5 BAB would stick a rogue as far as levels go. Is a level 4 PC something that could reasonably pull off being a Dark Lantern?
Is a PC with a handful of companions even going to be a boon to a PbP party? The more I think about it, the more I think the answer is no. Sticking Twin-Strike on any Ranger, hybrid or otherwise, generally makes for a passable striker.
