Revisiting the Elemasters

Umm, all kidding aside ;), I kind of like the idea of "Elemaster Proxies," but I'm not averse to "Elemaster Avatars" either.

Ok, just rename to "Elemaster Proxies" and add a line that these represent a fraction of the true elemaster's power created to represent the elemaster in some fashion?

Well I was thinking of a paragraph rather than a line.

Came up with this while sitting on the train a couple of days ago...

An elemaster is an elemental being of godlike power that oversees the elemental forces of the universe. There are separate elemasters for each element - air, earth, fire, water. Elemasters are mightier than any group of mortals, being a match for many greater gods. They are direct servants of the highest of the gods and have authority over all lesser elementals of their type. However, elemasters regularly create proxies of themselves to deal with matters too minor to demand their direct attention, such as the fate of a continent. Such proxies are formed from such a tiny fragment of the elemaster's power that epic mortal heroes can meaningfully interact with them.
