Looks good so far. I do think the tail slap should be changed to a tail barb, with a note that it does piercing damage.

Doesn't seem like there are really any other special abilities to worry about, unless we want to spell out "immunity to gravity effects" a bit more.

Sounds good. I'll make the change.

We should probably spell it out. In fact, I think we've done it before for one of the other gravity-themed critters. I'll begin the search...

We have a conversion of Crius, the Titan of Gravity, does he have such an ability?

Checks Creature Catalog...

...apparently not. :.-(

Hmmm, it does seem like that would be useful for him, wouldn't it. Maybe the difference is that he can alter gravity, but the ni'iath just seem to ignore it.

So, can you think of any critter we've done with an "immunity to gravity" special quality? The closest thing I could think off offhand was our Donald Duck conversion...

Indeed. We could always add it to him once we work up the ability if we think it's appropriate.

Anyway, I've had no luck finding the ability. Let's just whip something up:

Immunity to Gravity Effects (Ex?): A ni'iath is immune to any gravity-based effect (such as a reverse gravity spell). It can function in areas of light or heavy gravity as if it were in an area of normal gravity.

That looks fine, although I'd add "falling damage" to the example.

e.g.:

Immunity to Gravity Effects (Ex?): A ni'iath is immune to any gravity-based effect (such as a reverse gravity spell or falling damage). It can function in areas of light or heavy gravity as if it were in an area of normal gravity.

I don't like the last sentence, as it implies it is affected by normal gravity. The original text is very clear that they just don't feel gravity at all. How about this?

Immunity to Gravity Effects (Ex?): A ni'iath is immune to any gravity-based effect (such as a reverse gravity spell or falling damage). It maintains perfect flight and all abilities in light or heavy gravity as well as normal gravity.

I like the idea of the last sentence, but not the wording. How's this?

It can perform actions (including flying with perfect maneuverability) without penalty whether it is in light, heavy or normal gravity.
