I am from the future (Australia)...and I see nothing .

Did note under the DnDXP it says "playtest unreleased game material". Is that always the case? COuld this be 5e? Methinks not, but wondering what people will be playtesting...and probably has nothing to to with this 'announcement'.

With Monte back on (and Mearls of course), what if it was Malhavoc Press is getting the rights to D&D? That would be cool - and then they worked WITH the Paizo guys. United once again - no 'really' big corporation to hate. Good times.

I saw this post over on BoardGameGeek.

Major announcement coming from WotC on Tuesday | RPG | BoardGameGeek

Whatever it is they are announcing it seems to be newsworthy enough that the New York Times is going to be printing an article on it.

To me that leaves out 5th edition. My guess is either a MMO or perhaps they are being purchased by someone else?

Hmm, maybe Hasbro sells off D&D to a buyer, keeping WotC and brands like Magic: . . . the buyer being a group led by Gygax's widow?

Maybe an MMO. Or Apple-like and it'll be an announcement that an announcement is imminent on an MMO . . .
