Personally the sword looks way too big and it just kind of strikes me as cartoony.

Let's see, rat face, ridiculous anime sword, and oversized limbs. I really hope Wayne Reynolds stays far, far away from D&D. He has a certain style, but to me it doesn't capture D&D's feel whatsoever. Give me Elmore, Easley, or Lockwood.

That first picture helped turn me off to Pathfinder. I like Wayne Reynolds but hate anime-influenced art.

A little silly or a little schtick now and then is good for most RPGs. Amiri's oversized sword is part of her schtick. It may be drawn a bit silly in that picture, meh, I don't really care.
