Not me. I like 4E at the moment, and can't really see myself going all the way back to the original system. AD&D is where I started so that's about as far back as I'm likely to go anyway.

Hiya.

That's a yes for me. At roughly $200 Canadian when it gets to me, I'm saving up now. I have all the original books anyway (not the box...went missing or didn't have it...can't remember...it was over 30 years ago for me). But, I love the way the box looks and having all new books would be pretty sweet. I could easily get my group to play it, no problem.

I don't really like OD&D that much. AD&D was better imho. But having all that stuff in that shiny box is like having a little piece of gaming history in your hands. I wish there wasn't a sequester so I could buy this.

Nah, too pricey. Farthest I'd go back is 1E or Rules Cyclopedia{HINT HINT HINT WOTC].
Definitely a no on the Original rules set, had these once and other than a novelty the rules did not seem that playable. On the otherhand I would easily drop at least $50 for a good reproduction of the Rules Cyclopedia. I wore out my original copy long ago and ran a campaign for several years with those rules plus some of my own house rules. Also, either a condensed set of the original Mystara Gazetters would be on my list of wants for more reproductions from WotC over the next year or two.

Does anyone else find it ironic that WotC is primarily focusing on reprinting older edition stuff while prepping for D&D Next rather more 4e stuff?
