Yeah, I can see how these attitudes lead to very productive discussions. There's a reason several very good posters have simply stopped posting at all. I know some that don't even come here anymore. They got tired of having to deal with these type of attitudes. Not having their insightful and productive posts is much more of a loss to this community than posts like those exemplified above have ever provided.

Was a bit tired when posting, should have made it clearer that no one is favoring any edition. But it went all overboard, especially with the name calling instead of arguing over real rules. It really seems that sometimes people forget that even with it not being out yet, 5e is already the next edition and thus the rules apply.

See that there. That might be one of the reasons why people might not be inclined to increase your understanding to begin with.
Treating others with respect requires that one not assume others are throwing a tantrum simply because they don't agree with one's opinion.
"he doesnt like 4e, whaaaa report" is throwing a tantrum. Sorry but it is.
Although thank you for reminding me of the last name I needed to block to increase my enjoyment of the forum. After ignoring hussar and pemerton this place was 100% better. You and silentson are the other 2 I needed and I havent seen him in a while so that might not be an issue.
