GM: aggghh As I made my last post I had thought the same thing as I had to go back to search. Usually I put the map at the end of the enemy action post (that's what i've done in the past with the adventures I've dm'd). However, this time around most of the number crunching and displays are on the map itself. This is the first time I've done it this way. I promise you that in future enemy posts the map will be there. :)
OOC: Haha I wasn't mad. Don't worry about me, worry about your poor Elite. I assume he was an Elite anyways.

"That wasn't very nice." Torqua matters, trying to ignore the pain of the dagger in her belly. With a clash of thunder, Torqua leaps back, sending a shockwave at the thug when she lands. The thug however is too quick and dodges out of the way, but it does give the wide witch some breathing room.

OOC: Using Storm Walk against Thug 7.
1d20+7=14
14 vs Fort. MISS.
Shift back to M11 as part of the attack.
Move back to K10

GM: holy crap! I've never seen a character do that much damage at such a low level...not even Kane, R1's whirling barbarian.

Mr. Sams falls due to the lethal brutal attacks of Haaku and Leather. As the boss falls to the ground, the thug who saw the attacks drops his weapon as well. His mouth still stays open as he shows the signs of total shock. I...I didn't sign up for this. He lifts his hands up as if to surrender. Another thug sees this and yells to the others. They killed Mr. Sams! The thugs, one-at-a-time lower their weapons...not sure what to do next. The boy thief runs up the sorcerer's side. Is he really dead?

"All right, here is the story. You people have been doing harm to the folk of this neighbourhood and you know it. So, I don't mind killing each and every one of you. Mr Sam's is dead. So maybe he lead you wrong. If you want to live you have one chance. Put away your weapons. And start talking. Who knows why Mr Sams wanted you following us?" Leather bellows in a loud voice so all of the thugs can hear him.

Haaku, still kneeling over Mr. Sams' corpse, levels a long, cold look at each of the surviving thugs in turn. He then sets to work, methodically tearing strips out of the none-bloodstained portions of the dead man's clothes, which he uses to clean his sword and claw. When that's done he searches the body, turning him over like a sack of flour.

The thug closest to Mr. Leather speaks up. What do you want to know besides knowing that he was a pain in the arse. Two other thugs gather around, laughing nervously as the you can tell they wholeheartedly agree with the first thug's comment. He promised to pay us in gold for our services, but never pay as much is he said he would...threatened to kill my kids if I told Blue.

The third thug looks at Haaku as he searches the body of Mr. Sams and cleans his weapons. He smirks and says under his breath. I'm sure he's going to find a lot of loot on him. The others laugh.

You get the idea that their laughter is based on the strong hint of sarcasm from the thug how said the comment.
[/sblock]

Haaku, however, gets the last laugh as he finds a couple items of interest.

[sblock=Haaku]

You find a carefully folded letter in a pouch pocket. As you open the letter you can read the text.

[sblock=text]
Mr. S

Get the Ring. Double the usual payment
Bring item to Lady Luck. You get payment
then.

GM: Haaku also finds an N+1 treasure item. Let me know what you choose as your item

"Unless he can survive without a head, I don't think you'll have to worry about Mr Sam or his thugs again." Torqua tells the kid thief. She then looks the thug who just stab her in the gut straight in the eye and smiles. "Will he?"

The wide witch then casually walks up to the bandit and takes the knife off him. "Now, I should be angry after tried to kill me, but I, the Great Sorceress, Torqua Debu, am the forgiving sort and like your former boss said, I hardly felt it." She informs the thug. "Now perhaps you can tell me what has happened to Mr Blue."

OOC: Ha, well there isn't a single build in the game with better heroic tier nova ability than a Ranger|Fighter with Tempest Technique. Haaku isn't perfectly optimized (Monk MC and Ki Focus is inferior to dual Short Swords and Nimble Blade) but he's pretty close, and I rolled well. Thanks, assuming that was a compliment. :)

Oh, and how much exp did we get from this fight? Haaku is close to L6, which is relevant to me because none of the items on my wishlist are L6, haha. If I don't level, can I choose like an art object that's worth the same as an N+1 magic item?

The thug looks at the sorcerer with his hands up. Hey lass. I'm a professional. This was strictly business. I hold know quarrel with you. I...uh...actually am fond of people of...your stature. He blushes a bit, then continues. You mentioned Mr. Blue? He's Mr. Sam's boss...he pauses for a bit as if he's confused...come to think of it, I've haven't seen him in a while.

GM: I plan on giving your xp totals after one more encounter. You have some xp coming from a skill challenge and for the battle. Let's assume that the xp is enough for you to assume that you could lvl up
