Of course. There's no such thing as a game I hate so much I won't play it with my friends. I'd feel a bit broken if there were.

Honestly, I'd probably spare them that experience. I know myself well enough to know that I'd probably be poor company under those circumstances, either not getting involved in the game or griping about it despite myself. I think I'd prefer to skip the occasion rather than bringing down their enjoyment.

That's only if it's a system I truly dislike, though. If it's merely mediocre, I'll enjoy an evening with my friends and probably enjoy the gameplay in spite of the game-mechanics.

Absolutely. Any D&D is better than no D&D, assuming it is competently run, which has nothing to do with version or edition.

At this moment, no. Like almost everyone else on here I'm sure. RPGing time is at a premium so I'd much rather make the most of it.

I can't imagine hating a game. My least favourite systems are the new WFRP and 4E, but even those I'll happily play if my friends want to. It's only a game; the fun is the company.

Absolutely! My least favorite version of D&D is still a ton of fun. There's no version that I wouldn't play, though if I got to vote, I'd definitely have an opinion to voice.

As far as versions of D&D go, yeah, I'd participate. I can stand a one-shot in any of them. If the question included "most disliked RPG", I'd likely skip the session. Why play what's not fun for me? I'd rather us just hang out and do something we all enjoy.

Exactly. I don't like Savage Worlds, but I played an entire campaign of it because a couple of my friends wanted to play. But if it's 4e, I will find something more enjoyable to do, like stapling my tongue to the wall.

I agree though. There's a gray area where a decent group of people can have fun even if the system isn't great, but there's also a breaking point at which the game gets in the way.
