Eberron 3.5 VS 4th

Well, first of all let me introduse myself. My name is Ezequiel, I'm from Argentina, so my english may be a little crude.

I play Pathfinder RPG and I use different setting from D&D, now I'm running Rise of the Runelords in Golarion and a home made campaign in Forgotten Realms. I'm planning an Eberron game and want to know, since I know the time have not advanced in Eberron from 3.5 to 4th, Is there some new fluff or something worth it in the Eberron Campaign Setting and Eberron Player's Guide from 4th if I already have the 3.5 books.
I haven't read anything about Eberron yet, so I don't know to much about it.
Thanks for your time.

If you already have all the 3e material there isn't a lot that's new. There's a different take on Dragonmarks, which if you're using Pathfinder is probably not helpful except perhaps as an idea you can modify.

There's an interesting take on how Eladrin fit into Eberron, which may or may not matter to you.

There's an adaptation to the 4e cosmology, which despite my general approval of, was pretty unnecessary, and again not really relevant.

Overall I think the presentation is tighter in the 4e books. If you didn't have anything and were only going to get one set, I would recommend the 4e versions. But if you've already got the 3e versions you don't really need them.

Thanks a lot. So I may not get the 4th ed. The little things I saw about 4th ed cosmology didn't like me and I don't use Eladrin as a core race (or even an ussable one).
I wanted to know if there is something like new regions, factions or anything usable in Pathfinder that is not covered in the 3rd ed book that I have (but I have have not time to look yet).

Storminator gave a good description of the changes. I'd agree if you already have the 3e stuff, there's not any reason to bother with the 4e stuff for setting information.

I read the 4e stuff fairly recently and don't remember any new regions or factions.

Cheers!

There aren't any real fluff changes. Of course, they did have to work in homelands for Dragonborn, Eladrin, and Tieflings (and some of that new material is quite good - especially the Eladrin towers). But the timeline in unchanged, as are the basics of the regions.

So, if you have the 3.5e books there's no pressing reason to bother with the 4e ones. That said, I found the 4e "Eberron Campaign Setting" (but not the Player's Guide) to be an excellent book - it does a really good job of bringing together and summarising quite a lot of material that is spread out across many of the 3e books. So if you can pick up a copy reasonably cheaply, I'd say go for it.

Although if you're going to spend money on Eberron books... I personally would say you'd get more bang for your buck if you bought some of the other 3E Eberron sourcebooks (like Five Nations or Dragonmarks or Sharn, City of Towers) than you would buying the 4E Eberron Campaign Guide book. Those books extend and detail what you already have in your 3E Eberron Campaign Setting... rather than repeat much of what you already have in it, as you'd get from the 4E one.

This. If you don't have it, get Sharn.

I have the Player's Handbook, Campaign Setting, Sharn: the city of towers, races of eberron and the little adventures, all from 3rd ed (i study engineering so I didn't have much time to read them yet). I don't think I can find something else since here there is no market for roleplaying games (there was a market in the past, in the 3rd era, so I get everithing used). Now I have to import, paying the shipment, and that's a lot of money.

Thanks a lot to everyone, your information is appreciated.
