Glad to see this.
But...
Organizers (and I presume public play game sessions) are only allowed to be in stores or conventions now, huh?

I mean, most probably are anyway, but what about places or people that don't have easy access to a game store or convention? Those are pretty much locked out of engaging with a Living Campaign, or taking characters with them when they can make it to a convention maybe once a year.

Looks like a good setup. Marrying the Encounters and Living Campaign ("Expeditions") concepts should make both stronger.

Magical Item Certifications will probably cause drama, but they want to restrict items somehow and that seems to be the best we've come up with so far.

It's a little sad only the premier Expeditions impact the story, but I'm glad they're acknowledging that up front.

Cheers!

I just want to say that I'm really happy with this.

A couple of questions come to mind, like the aforementioned "stores and conventions". Hopefully these are able to be ordered for home play. Though, it sounds like the adventures are GenCon are all part of the Expeditions campaign. Which means, at first, there will only be 2 adventures available. If they come out slowly, it might only be worth running them at stores or conventions.

Though, there are some hints that you could actually run the entirety of Tyranny of Dragons as a Expeditions adventure too. Interesting.

Adventurers League Players Guide sounds like the Organized Play character builder since the full rules is all about options.

So for public play everyone uses the same options.
