D&D 5E D&D Next Adventures - Confrontation at Candlekeep

Any idea where I can get "Confrontation at Candlekeep"? GenCon 2013 is, it's an adventure for characters level 2 someone could send me to? only to people who attended the convention but some people must upload it to internet, please.

I have a question, at the end of the playtest gave DnDClassics "Temple of Elemental Fire", this adventure is compatible with DnD Next? someone could put a picture of the manual? to see if the same or different TSR, thanks

1. You cannot ask for Confrontation at Candlekeep here because it's against the forum rules to ask for/support pirated products and, even though this was free, it's still considered piracy because it was never a free/open release by WotC.

2. Do you mean Temple of Elemental Evil? It's not compatible with D&D Next. You would need to convert all of the monsters. A quick google image search will find you the cover, especially now that you have the correct name for the adventure.

The Steading of the Hill Giant Chief Winter Fantasy (January 2013) These adventures not sold in stores, only distributed to people attended conventions (not sell online) Could you get them or any ideas? Legal in PDF, Aré for DnD Next, thanks.

As I mentioned in my previous reply, Confrontation at Candlekeep has never been openly released by WotC so there is no legal PDF available. I think you will need to try eBay or something similar.

As for Hill Giant, the 4E version is an adventure published in Dungeon so you will need a DDi subscription to legally download it. If it's the 1E version, that's probably available on dndclassics.com either as a standalone adventure or as part of the compiled G1-3 Against the Giants. If it's for Next then I don't know anything about this product.

Neither adventure is available anywhere for purchase or download. Both were only distributed to DMs who were running them at those conventions. The "Hill Giant" adventure that ran at Winter Fantasy wasn't even a full adventure. It was just notes for how to convert the original AD&D "Hill Giant" adventure into a D&D Next adventure, based on the D&D Next playtest packet that was current at that time.

Ok, thank you. I hope someday WotC takes these adventures publicly, there is no conversion to G1 that is created by fans? I found the adventure G1 for E4. In EnWorld mentioned in "Adventures" to G1 as promotional Wintex Fantasy adventure in 2003.

About Confrontation at Candlekeep appeared in GenCon 2003 and PAX East 2004, will soon be at Sakura-Con, hopefully now if legally distributed, Greetings!

I think you mean GenCon 2013 and PAX East 2014?

It was also at PAX Prime 2013.

I expect WotC will someday release it, similarly to how they released Vault of the Dracolich a while after the event. Keep an eye on the D&D Classics website and look for a pdf.

Right... now I've got it and have read it.

I love this adventure! I wish I could have played it at GenCon, but it seems quite lootable even now for a home game. Or I might just run it at my local store. I'd have to do a little modification of the stats (as they're from the playtest), but I might not bother too much. Looks so much fun!

It's currently available at one of RPG retailers at 4.99USD. Not a bad price in comparison to some of the other Wizards products that are well over $10.
