D&D 5E Where (and when) are you getting the Starter Set?

I'm curious.

I have it pre-ordered but am thinking of picking it up at a Wizards Play Network store on the 3rd and then cancelling my pre-order. We shall see.

Assuming the local store has it, I'll probably get it early. I don't mind paying the premium if I'm getting something in return. It's like paying for ultra fast shipping.

No LGS where I live, so I depend on Amazon. I hope it arrives in time and good shape (had my share of disappointments with damaged books)

Amazon, because I had over $150 in gift cards, and if I wait for it to come to my local game store, I'll probably have to wait nearly a year for it to come out, and in any case would be paying for a huge import mark-up.

Here in the UK, Amazon are giving their release date for the Starter Set as 25th July. So I guess I'll be getting it in about four week's time.

Until recently I haven't kicked around ENWorld much since 4E release days. IIRC, back then you'd happily spoil a copy of each new and exciting product as soon as you received it (and we all loved you for it). Think you'll be doing that again this edition, thalmin?

Yes. And we will be running some demo games on the 5th, as well.

Getting it at Amazon. My FLGS is a Premier+ store, but their preorder sheet says July 15. Their support for D&D is not very good. It seems to not make them as much money as Magic drafts and X-Wing.
