D&D 5E Playtest +basic? Anyone run anything yet?

So the anticipation is obviously building, and I'm sure some of you are like me and want to get a jump on beginning your campaign. Has anyone been using playtest rules in tandem with Basic? If so, what adjustments have you made? I was just looking over it and the most obvious thing is the proficiency has been bumped up. Spells have also gotten a massive boost (take a look at meteor swarm). Other than that I guess classes may have different saves, I've noticed most only have 1 save. Anyway, anyone got tips or ideas? I'm actually surprised no one has offered up a document yet. I remember back when 4th came out you guys had a largely complete fan document that reverse engineered the previews they gave.

I'll keep them separate until Gen Con-ish.

Encounters is playtest only. My new Phandelver run is 5B only.

Having the monsters on two different scales is enough to keep me from mixing them.

Re-vised our campaign world with a fresh start in a local level 1 area (with the playtest). Update "some" with release of Basic.

Had to change; proficiency bonus and spells prepared.

The rest of it gets interpreted during play. Created a background called "Pirate" for the wizardess.

We'll get one session in on my game I started a couple months ago, maybe two, over the next month. I don't anticipate any problems. I already told the players that only the human rogue is going to get the full conversion, the others either have a race or class from the PH, so they'll only get partially changed until then.

Our 5E playtest game, "Dungeon Raiders: The Wolf's Den," started out using playtest rules, but our DM has asked us to update our PCs to 2nd Level, and to the new Basic rules, as of last week and weekend. Our party contains a human cleric and an elf wizard who should have no problem; but we also have a dwarf druid, a warforged fighter, and an elf ranger, all of whom are going to get only partial updates until the PHB comes out; and the warforged won't have racial rules until November when the DMG comes out.

With the slow pace of PbP gaming, there's really no rush: it is not as though we are going to do another leveling before the PHB gets released; and when that happens, we can shift almost entirely to the actual rules, so we have no need to go to the trouble of writing up a document for mixing actual with playtest.

We have been running Age of Worms with the last playtest packet. I had everyone recreate their characters using as much of 5B as I could, and I gave them modified playtest information as the balance. So most races from the playtest got a +2/+1, but the half-orc got +2Str/+2Con. Classes generally got to choose 2 skills from the playtest choices for their class, and backgrounds got 4 items selected from skills, tools and languages that the background had available. We will run this way until the PHB comes out. At that point just about everyone should be fully converted. Some of our characters were able to just use 5B, but wanted to keep their background.

We have
Tiefling Wizard who will change to a sorcerer with the PHB
Halfling Rogue2/Monk1
Elf 2-handed fighter
Human Cleric
Human Monk
Half-Gnoll Paladin who is using half-orc stats probably until the MM comes out.

As a side note, I cannot wait for the MM. Recreating 3.5e monsters in 5e is a pain, and I will be happy when I can pull them off the shelf and just reskin what is needed.

I run encounters at a store. I pretty much let it be an "anything goes" zone with regard to whats being played at the table. We have playtest stuff alongside basic stuff. Its working ok. Then again, I keep the players from fighting too much about min/maxing et al.

At the earliest, I may get to run 5e when the next Encounters season opens (the last few have been all-4e at my FLGS), if there's interest (so far I have 2 interested players, not enough for a table, but I'm hoping that having the box on the shelf will help with that).

No plans to convert any existing campaigns, though. (As with the last rev-roll it just seems easier to finish out the campaign than to convert characters to a radically different system.)

I will be running the combo this Sunday. We've had a 5e playtest game going for a month now. I'm excited to be able to start using the final rules.

I have. Somewhat. Ran a few one-off adventures (top of my head or using random dungeon charts from 1e DMG :)) to get a feel for Basic. Pretty much to see how well combat flows. Also potentially running U1 Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh this weekend. (U1 was one of the first converted modules I ran when 3e came out. Seems fitting to run it again using 5e...with almost all the same players even.)

Only adjustments I've made are to monsters really. The ones in the final playtest seem to be fairly weak compared to the later ones we've seen so far. Bump up damage a bit, bump up hit points. Any spells i come across, say in U1, that aren't in Basic, I can eyeball and wing it until the PHB lands. Same with a pretty famous NPC in there. His class isn't in basic (and wasn't in 3e as a class either..it became a PrC).

We are really just trying to get a feel for the rules and see if we are going to convert the main campaign over or not (with house rules...will require some to fit our style).
