Class Choice Query

Windlord theme (HoEC) encounter power
Monk 2: Swift Flight encounter utility
Sorcerer 2: Sorcerous Sirocco encounter utility
Sorcerer 3: Thundering Gust encounter attack
Sorcerer 6: Wind Rider encounter utility (sustainable)
Swordmage 6: Zephyr of the Barren Sands encounter utility

Seems a warforged storm sorcerer with the Windlord theme is the fastest route to Iron Man stuff.

Aren't Storm sorcerer builds more Str-centric? Could be good...

Nope. All sorcerers are Cha, with riders based on Str (dragon, cosmic) or Dex (chaos, storm).

You don't *have* to be a Storm Sorcerer, though (only one of the powers I mentioned have Storm rider effects). You could easily be a Dragon sorcerer and take lightning/fire powers, plus those with fly effects, and reskin those as Iron Man-style repulsor/unibeam blasts.

This sorcerous iron man is looking doable...thanks, all!

Any refinements of the core concept that would be improved via hybrid or multiclassing? Or are there any wrinkles that might be cool? For instance, merging the IM concept with some flavor from another iconic superhero?

You could aways MC into Paladin to get a Cha-based melee attack.

Elemental sorcerers use a CON secondary which makes them more robust.

Air or Water (reskinned a bit) might fit. You want the Windlord Theme still.
