D&D 5E What Campaign Setting(s) Do You Want To See in 5E?

Honestly, for settings that are close to the core (Realms, Greyhawk, Dragonlance, even Planescape & Spelljammer, honestly) I feel like it would be better to have settings show up as pdfs or as part of Adventures(Paths), rather than as seperate products. However, I wouldn't mind seeing things that really extend the game in new directions....Al-Qadim, Dark Sun, etc. show up as pdfs or maybe softcovers. Maybe as compilations of series of Unearthed Arcana articles or something.

I think I feel like a setting without adventures is rather pointless. I mean, if I'm going to write my own adventures, I might as well whip up the context for them as well. Heck, that's usually the easy part. YMMV

My pick would be a gonzo cosmic sword & sorcery setting inspired by beauteous majesty of 1970s prog rock and vintage Heavy Metal magazines. Were talking psychedelic warlords, Roger Dean landscapes, Frank Frazetta Death Dealers, and giant armadillo tanks.

I want it. Would be willing to kill for it.

This. In the absence of this, Minaria.

I would love this.

I've never used a campaign setting, so I really just care about the materials each one offers that I can use in settings I make up.
1- Ebberon, for the artificer class
2- Dark sun, if it includes psionics maybe I'll actually try them out this time
3- Ravenloft, because although I know next to nothing about it what I do know sounds cool

Mostly Ebberon, though.

Speaking in broad strokes, in general, I'm curious about those old settings that are the most different from the vanilla D&D experience, stuff like Dark Sun, Ravenloft, or Spelljammer.

And I'd be really interested in seeing what the 5E team would do with a new, hopefully, creative and original setting.
But I really can't say which ones I want them to actually DO until I see what the level of quality content they can deliver. If its anything approaching how horrible the 4E Realms campaign book was then they need to leave everything well enough alone.
