As I'm playing Zeitgeist in 5e, is there any way to get that un-adjusted version?
I have a local tabletop roleplaying convention coming in March, and I'm thinking about running Bonds of Forced Faith (as long as I invent good translation of the name into Russian), mainly to establish "canon" version of history for my main party. The con main topic is "horror", I think rivers of blood will fit nicely... Have you run it already in your campaign? Any advice?
As far as I can see from the spoiler Wickett provided, 'canonical' plot can go in many ways, e.g.
OBVIOUSLY SPOILERS FOR ZEITGEIST CAMPAIGN!
[sblock]-Lorcan acts as true king, subdues witch, recognizes Amielle's good will, stereotypical and simple fantasy "happy end";
-Lorcan is defeated/convinced, Green Knight dies (probably framed in the public's view, along with Godhand), Contessa is promoted to queen, Stanfield+Contessa+Amielle lay down the foundation of Ob complex in Cauldron hill, Lee's role is... shady to say the least;
-and many variations in-between theses two extremities.
Basically, Godhand is very unlikely to be swayed from his path of righteous judgement, Melissa can be painted as either noble knight or corrupt and war-hungry heir-wanna-be, Stanfield-Amielle-Contessa alliance is implied, but not implicitly (Contessa mentions "allies from overseas", but Amielle doesn't know that), Lee is bound by his pledge of loyalty, but can be tempted to break it (I'll never believe that a dragon willingly server a puny humans for a century without any signs of rebellion!). This opens very, very different options for main campaign...
