D&D 5E ForgedAnvil D&D 5E Character Generator

Just noticed that when None is selected in the Shield column this generates a #Value! message in the Armor Class field. This doesn't appear to cause any adverse issues within the character sheets though.

Thanks,

This is a bug, Ability Score Increase / Feat will appear only once with a x2, x3, x4 for each time you select this option. The issue with the Fighter class is that the 4 and 6 are not separated by a , and appear as 46 instead of 4, 6 ... this is only an issue with the 6th level feat. It has been corrected for version 1.38

Thanks. You are doing a brilliant job, improving and de-bugging the sheet all the time.

I'll look into it, though it is strange the lines near Deity are skewed, these are not images. What PDF printer are you using, I've used the inbuilt version in Windows (10) and don't see skewing but some blurred artifacts in other areas - might need to increase the resolution of the images used - trading off for file size
I can confirm that it is your image overlays that is causing the distortion. If I forcibly remove them then the Excel file prints both to the printer and PDF in amazing crisp quality with proper font printing and embedding. Lines are perfectly straight. It is totally press quality. With the fancy image overlays then both lines and fonts underneath the overlays are distorted and much lower quality. It is the "fuzzy" look.

I am using Adobe Acrobat Professional Distiller version 9.5.5; "Print to Adobe PDF". I don't have any idea why the image overlays would do that. But it is not just with PDF but direct printing as well so it is something to do with Microsoft Excel.

I think I've found the issue, it has something to do with the resolution of images and their ratio... working on improving this. So far the results are positive, will need further testing done once 1.38 is ready

Improved images PDF example

Improved the image quality of the Dragon skin and image elements in Character Sheet I-V for v1.38

Attached is an example PDF printing, hopefully this works for other PDF printers (this was printed with the stock PDF printer in Windows). If you're having issues make sure your printer is printing at least 600 dpi. Also tested with the Microsoft XPS printer.

Ensure High quality mode for graphics is unchecked. This option is found in Excel under File > Options > Advanced > Print

Update with Elemental Evil skin below (V1.39)

If you have problems with print quality let me know the details...

Outlander druid combo gets 4 languages, but the spreadsheet only allows three.

How do you change the character picture?

Super tool. The best character spreadsheet I've ever used.

Cool, thanks for the feedback.

What is your race?

Languages:
Druid: Druidic
Outlander: 1 of your choice
Race: ?

Let me know if I've missed something in the languages

For changing the character picture, select the picture, go to Format menu and choose Change Picture (browse and choose image to replace)
