Melisande could not argue with her companions suggestions after she picked up the evil auras from them. She was not so concerned about the information Heinrich knew about the trolls; she figured she could bring them down anyway. She hoped his magic and ingenuity would help keep them permanently dead.

“Evil creatures! You were warned!” She was ready to charge but waited for the heat of the flames that suddenly exploded through the clearing to dissipate first.

Spurs to her mount, Melisande charged forward with the point of her lance leading the way. She cared not for whether the troll would regenerate fast because she could strike him down fast too.

I went ahead and resolved Melisande's action; decided that her charge would resolve before they grew enough to extend their reach.[/sblock]

The troll on the left laughs wickedly as Heinrich's fire washes over the pair. The one on the right twists it's misshapen head first to one side, then the other, and rolls its massive shoulders. "HAR, HAR. FIRE TOASTY WARM! T'ANKS, MIDGE!" Ligaments twist and pop, muscles bulge, and the two trolls begin to expand . . .

Melisande puts heels to horse and drives forward even as the beasts are growing. The holy warrior's lance drives deep, eliciting a grunt of pain ("HUMPH!").

Melisande was satisfied enough that her mundane lance had done something to the hulking trolls despite their increase in size after the fiery explosion.

“It appears they like fire, Heinrich! I would try something else.”

Heinrich takes one hand with palm spread and facing out in a spiraling out path creates what looks to be a translucent shield of flame. He then grsps some of the flame and as the shield of flame disappears.

"Ooooh! Even more fun now!" quipped Solomon as the trolls swelled to an impossibly large size as though they absorbed the fire. ""Time to cut them back down to size!" She closed the distance beween the two brutes swiftly, nimbly dodging the blows they aimed at her with mocking laughter. "You'll have to try harder numbskulls!" Her blade sung as it leapt from its sheath and drove towards the troll's fleshy thighs ... right about where anartery ran through the leg.

Tricky pbp defensive abilities Sol will use:
Body Guard feat: If a troll attacks Melisande or her steed she uses an AoO (she has 7 Max) to use Aid Other to improve her AC; she will do this as many times as she Melisande is attacked. (Not entirely sure how this works!)

Parry and Riposte: If she is attacked whe will use an AoO spending 1 panache point to make an attack roll (+29 with answering scimitar) to try and parry attack. On a hit she uses and immeidate reaction to riposte with an atk (+29 to hit)

[sblock=OOC]You will get to do some, I promise! Just gotta make things challenging, and it's really difficult to do that (in a creative way that doesn't involve just pumping up HP and damage) with a high level game.

Also, Heinrich's shield spell will have to wait 'till next round, as Sol was the only one who hadn't acted this round - it's the trolls' turn now.[/sblock]
