Well, that was fun

I've not played the game, but that trailer looks utterly awful. I'm sure it will make tons of money.

Hmmm, as a retired Warcrack player, I am disappointed in the trailer. It looks nothing like the game. I mean, why isn't everyone wandering around in a predictable triangle pattern waiting to be killed?

Nah. I think the Draenei weren't in it because they're still debating whether or not to give the uh "horse member" they have in so much of the fan art.

:p

Doesn't look half bad. Didn't see any of the other races though, maybe a quick glance at trolls?

Probably won't see it in theaters but might rent it.

AR

theres a dwarf at the right sideof the alliance council meeting but its literally blink and miss it. So one of the blondes in the scene is probably an elf

I have certainly played my share of WoW, though this trailer doesn't give huge insight towards how loyal to the lore it is. In terms of broad strokes there is similarities.

I have to agree with Morrus though. That trailer... This movie will probably make some good bank. There are a lot of die hard WoW players and fans of the lore. Not only that, some may see it just for nostalgia's sake.

I'm mainly wondering what took them so long. It's been said they've been working on this movie for ten years. Duncan's been on board for three years. And apparently, under his guidance they did a major overhaul of the story, which initially was a simple 'good vs. evil' conflict.

I'm also wondering how much (if at all) this movie has been influenced by the story of the Warcraft adventure game Blizzard finished but never published.
