D&D 5E ForgedAnvil D&D 5E Character Generator

ForgedAnvil,
Wonderful tool! Any chance you might be able to put in the optional equipment from the DMG, specifically the "advanced" weapons (p.268). Or is there a way to add custom weapons and/or rename weapons if a character is using a Katana instead of a longsword (even if the stats are the same)?

Thanks!

Well, on the weapon section (Section 11 on the first page), it allows you to override any of the core values. For instance, if I wanted to do a Katana, which has the same stats as a longsword, I'd select the Longsword from the list. Then under the "Overrides" section, you can override the name with "Katana". The equipment page that calculates encumberance allows you to type in your own items, and set the weight, so that shouldn't be a problem either.

I have a pet Owlbear. Is there a way to enter his stats into character sheet IV in the Familiar or Animal Companion area? Thanks! I love your sheet and now my whole group uses it!

Looks very cool! I personally prefer the skills listed separately but that is by no way a deal breaker. The action block is really a novel and good idea. Wondering how that is filled out? Continue your good work sir!

Thanks daviddellsworth, currently going through many background changes to make this work for the new design and any custom design that a user wants to create (still using all the automation in the background). The concept for the action block would be to dynamically update it based on race, class, subclass, feats etc. e.g. a once a Rogue reaches level 2, the Bonus Action would populate with Dash, Disengage and Hide. There are a few other things I am bringing to CSI as well such as Conditions (multiple) and Exhaustion Level as well as a description for these that automatically populates and calculates the effect of these - a lot of work though

Fantastic Character Generator -- I made a small contribution to your beer fund. What a great job you've done! Let me know if I can help you promote that on social media!

Thanks Thomas McClintock for the festive season beers, will be definitely enjoying these. Promote as you like on social media and keep having fun! Cheers ForgedAnvil

Happy New Year all (and a belated Merry Christmas).

ForgedAnvil, I think I found a mistake in the City Watch and Investigator backgrounds. I think they should both have 2 languages instead of 2 Tools (much though I prefer it as you have it). :)

I like the new layout you are working on.

Request:
For custom subclasses, is there any way to define a dropdown for things like dragon type? I don't see where you could find the room personally, but you are amazing at fitting things in somehow. :)

Hey Mergon, thanks for the feedback - another user found these earlier and I've fixed these issues in v1.64 (hopefully released this coming week). For the subclass request, I get your meaning, at the moment not possible with the Custom Subclass - it is like a subclass of a subclass (for now the character will need to enter the dragon type as part of the subclass as well as the features it gets for that dragon type)

I have a pet Owlbear. Is there a way to enter his stats into character sheet IV in the Familiar or Animal Companion area? Thanks! I love your sheet and now my whole group uses it!

Hi JohnZSmith, you can override the stats of your Familiar or Animal Companion in the Spellcasting sheet - Owlbear shouldn't be a problem! Great to hear your whole group is using the awesomeness of the generator!

First off, I really love this sheet. It works great for me. But as of the current update 1.63, I am having problems with a split class barbarian, sorcerer build on the sheet. As soon as I hit 3/3 in the classes, my background details on page two, go immediately to #NA. I tried this an older sheet, 1.41, and got the same result.
