D&D 5E 5e EPIC MONSTER UPDATES

Nice. I like the sticky tongue, and I wouldn't have thought of a jump attack; that would be memorable. I have a vague recollection that his domain is a subterranean series of caves, so maybe he should have a climb speed too (or spider climb as an at will spell). I figure a hezrou demon is kind of a super troglodyte--so if you are a really good (evil) trog, your reward is becoming one in the afterlife. As such, they would be nice as summoned minions.

I updated Laogzed with a climb speed, spider climb (3/day), and I was inspired to whip up a quick sketch as well!

Like I just wrote in another thread, what would be valuable is a tool for determining a party's capability to take on high CR creatures. I mean, how many boons do you need to take on a CR31 creature? How many artifacts? Stuff like that.

Agreed, I'm just not sure how to do it. The boon method doesn't (currently) have a framework like levels for balance. Depending on what boons you select you can have wildly different attack/ defense with the same number of boons. I think I will have to develop a PC CR calculator

The only possible tool for that is 4-6 people with piles of pencils, dice, books, and notepads. Also called playtesting.

Yes, but it would be good to develop a concept from which play testing could then refine. I think I will need to develop something eventually

maybe you should do Erythnul

Currently I have 4 submissions from other contributors to review and I plan on making Blibdoolpoolp next to finish off my current list of demigods. After that I am happy to make Erythnul if you want. However, I'm not familiar with Erythnul. If there is any background information about him/her/it that you could forward me it would be very helpful.
