D&D 5E (2014) [DM/Flavour Question] Reincarnating (over over until I am a female redhead bugbear)

Is there any way of influencing the result of Reincarnate spell? What could trigger the "DM chooses" part.. Wish, Divination perhaps ("choose" the right moment to reincarnate someone etc.)?
Does/could Reincarnate change gender? The "spell fashions a new body" part would imply it could...

EDIT: So far I am sticking with Glyph of Warding + Wish (Reincarnate) for the cost of 9th and 5th level slots.
EDIT 2.0: Simply using Wish seems to be far to risky (33% chance of having to reroll) plus I hate the feeling that DM can misinterpret your words.
EDIT 3.0: Contact Other Plane seems to be even better that Divination (simply asking DM what should I do to achieve desired result - big thanks and love to Satyrn for this idea).

Pizza. Pizza typically influences the DM pretty well. I also accept Visa and Mastercard.

Yes, reincarnate can reincarnate you as most anything, make, female, both, neither, etc...

Personally I think it's best to let the player choose one feature of their character and let the dice, or the DM decide the rest.

But no, there's no actual RAW/RAI that lets the reincarnatee have any influence.

If you have access to the Wish spell though, you could probably just wish to be a female ginger bugbear.

And if you don't mind doing it piece by piece, I heard from a hunchback that Dr. Victor something-or-other up the road knows Regenerate and doesn't ask too many questions.

I was about to say that as a DM, I would just let you become that since it seems to be something important to you, but I changed my mind when I reread the OP. You create such a cool hoop to jump through that I would go with that.

I like divining when the moment is right.

You were the one who mentioned wish. Besides, you could always use a magic item to wish, or get an NPC to do it for you, or go on a quest to Jusenkyo to find the spring of drowned lady ginger bugbear.

Or, you could buy your DM some quality booze, or take her out to a steak dinner to discuss it.

I have a real suggestion. Do that divining thing. This should get your DM to tell you if that's enough or at least provide the next step in the process.
