D&D 5E I need to increase my strength with a wish, what should i say?

My dm is a totally fair person, but he does love ruining wishes if he spots a chance to. My current best idea is "i wish to be physically stronger" but i feel like that could increase my dextarity or constitution.

Well, you could wish "I wish to be as strong as a Giant", and then add "without losing my humanity, identity, freedom, free-will, self-image or turning into a non-human."

Those qualifiers shut down a lot of the potential ugly downsides and are mutually redundant so they work as mutual a failsafe.

Or maybe if you want to be even less risky: I wish I could carry more than 330 pounds with total ease without losing my humanity, identity, freedom, free-will, self-image, sense of self or turning into a non-human"

DM response to so many qualifiers: All Storm Giants are now exactly as strong as you are.

In general I'd advise using the "I wish to be..." form, not "I wish I was..." Not only is the latter grammatically incorrect (try "I wish I were...") but your DM may interpret it in the past tense.

"Presto! You suddenly have memories of being as strong as a giant. In fact, there are folk tales from your homeland about it. Everybody wonders how you turned into such a wuss."

"I wish my physical strength rivaled an adult minotaur" is a perfect wish.

I think that the best way to run wishes is to say "yes, and..." whenever possible. If I were DMing, I'd boost that PC's strength to 19, however the next time they run into minotaurs (or maybe some minotaurs seek them out), I'd introduce a minotaur rival to the PC...this would either be a mighty minotaur warrior who has heard of boasts of the PC being "stronger than a minotaur" and seeks to prove otherwise, or a decrepit venerable minotaur shaman who had his strength sapped because of the wish and seeks to steal it back from the PC. :)

Et voila! The player's wish is fulfilled and a story hook is created.
This is how i would love for a wish to be granted.

I wish I had the muscular body-buildout of the world's strongest human adventurer, only stronger, and able to lift 300 more pounds and having +3 better attack bonus compared to him/her. e.g. wishing by comparison/reference to an existing defined person.

Or I wish I had big beefy arms like Trogdor.
One of those should work.
Edit: Typos

But that would be awesome! You just made all giants weaker! n_n

umm...how about the second version of the wish?

Your strength is unchanged. As long as the combined total of anything you carry is less than 331lbs, it is as though you are carrying nothing at all. Unfortunately, that also includes your weight, and since you now weigh nothing at all, gravity has no effect on you.

The answer is, of course, "I wish I was strong enough I could pick up the Tarrasque and throw it into the sun"

Either you win, or the Tarrasque becomes hilariously light

Just for fun:

Well, you could wish "I wish to be as strong as a Giant", and then add "without losing my humanity, identity, freedom, free-will, self-image or turning into a non-human."

One giant has his strength reduced to your level. In retribution for this deadly insult his clan begin tracking you down.

Or maybe if you want to be even less risky: I wish I could carry more than 330 pounds with total ease without losing my humanity, identity, freedom, free-will, self-image, sense of self or turning into a non-human"

You can now carry more than 330 pounds. If you try to carry anything less than this you are encumbered.
