So Whisper gets a second save. Assuming that death save was applied to that, Whisper actually takes half of half of 35, so 8. So just some painful poison.

Siljar on the other hand I think got annihilated.

[MENTION=552]Creamsteak[/MENTION] I failed my Dex save, so I took the 35, which was then halved to 17 due to poison resistance, so she's at 0 HP, but didn't cross to instant death (only 6 HPs into her threshold).

She has made one successful Death Save, needs 2 more to stabilize unless someone else stabilizes her through healing or Medicine. I'll wait to roll to see if anyone helps her. Considering she just killed another member or the party, I could see the rest not helping her.

Sorry everyone, Whisper figured if the room's owner had left all of this powerful magic out in the open, it was likely that the chests might contain more useful stuff that could help them get out of there. Wasn't expecting a 7th Level Spell. Sorry! (Incidentally, [MENTION=552]Creamsteak[/MENTION], if Whisper survives, does she get XP for killing Siljar? )

Actually halflings also get advantage on saves vs poison, so I applied your death save to your advantage save, which was more than the 15 required... so Whisper should only be down 8 hit points, as crazy as that is.

Oh yeah! Sorry, I wasn't even thinking about it that way. I figured this was a save vs. spell, but I guess it would be poison. The halfling lives! Even more sorry about Siljar now...
