Forged,
The question I have is that on the custom tab, you give us the ability to create custom spells; would it be possible to have a section that would allow us to create custom "Eldritch Invocations" for the Warlock?

Forged,

Great sheet. I used HeroForge for my 3.5 characters, and when my group went to 5e, I was hurting for some math-done-for-me-beautifully. I'm glad I came across your post. I'm tracking three characters in 3 different games with Beta 10. So far so good, with some minor bugs that I've found, but I am going to wait until I rebuild on Beta 11. That said, I had two quick questions:

1) Do you have a release cadence? Is there any way we can expect a new beta from you once a month, one every two months, etc.?
2) Would you mind posting a changelog of the things fixed or added? I can't seem to find one in the thread, but it is ~260 pages long at this point.

Cheers!

Hey Forged, I love this sheet so much. Used it for a full 1-20 campaign with my beloved vengeance paladin.

We're playing a shortish campaign now in the Amethyst world, and there are a bunch of classes and races that aren't in the sheet. I see it's possible to add custom races and subclasses; is it possible to add custom classes? I'd like to do my Scholar in the sheet if I can. Thank you!

Currently the closest to adapt a custom class you can do is to choose a class with the same hit die, override the class defaults and ignore the text it gives. I had to do this for a mystic (used a monk, put a ac 0 armor custom armor on it to negate some monk stuff) in my game. Put all the details in a custom subclass and the large custom block

I proposed a solution in the past, but currently not implemented. I am working on a new proposal for custom classes.

Hey, all! First off, ForgedAnvil, I love the work you have done here. Incredibly powerful and versatile tool!

I have a question regarding the named variables in the spreadsheet. I am DM'ing for my kids and some of their friends. The youngest player is like 11, so he has a hard time keeping track of his character. I was inputting his character into the spreadsheet, and realized that Character Sheet 1 prints out in very small text with a lot going on. It really won't help him this way. I would like to use the Design Space tab to generate my own version of a printed character sheet that has the important stuff presented in a way that he can find it easily. I have the downloaded FAQ, but the section on the DesignSpace and the Named Variables is blank.

Is this information available somewhere?

Thanks!

Try printing it in landscape with "Fit all columns on one page" selected - I use this on all the sheets I print out as it makes it much easier to read.

Sadly, there is no public information yet that I know of detailing the named variables. I believe that, because the tool is still in a beta stage, it is premature to make this information (if it even exists) public. Perhaps, once the tool has changed from beta to release, further information can be given.

On the Excel bar, would going to 'Formulas' > 'Name Manager' help?

Thanks for the input, guys. My spreadsheet skills were never great, but I did manage to find through the forum and through online excel help how to access the named variables. I tried printing in landscape, and that makes things about the right size, but doesn't really prioritize the information on the front page the way I'd like.

I'm working now on a custom Character Sheet. It is slow going, but nothing compared to the amount of work that went into this spreadsheet in the first place.

I bow to the spreadsheet mastery skills of ForgedAnvil. It even includes support for several languages!
