D&D 5E Survivor Worst Spells: FIND TRAPS IS THE WORST!

Alas, the party of adventurers came across the evil mage's library and their wizard, excited about the possibility of adding some new spells to his book, began to flip through the pages of a random tome, only to activate a ward and TPK the party. If only he had learned Find Traps...

Disappointing. Needed more seevotes, I guess.


The result does make a certain amount of sense. Find Traps was the poster boy for casters stomping on non-caster niche protection - being killed by 'finding' traps being the classic Thief's raison detre (french for 'reason for not being immediately killed by your own party'), and one niche-protected from its inception through (badly, precisely because of Find Traps) 3.x - so it getting nerfed into the ground is understandable.

Or would have been, if said niche protection hadn't been completely abandoned. ;)
