No, you just feel entitled to it in spite of having no particular right to it. That’s your problem, not anyone else’s.
Considering this is a public forum and that because of that there is no actual way to prevent him from seeing your posts then I'd say he should feel entitled to be able to read them. In fact I'd go even further and say that because this is a public forum that he in fact does have the right to read your posts.
The only real question left is why do you feel you should have the right to inconvenience him by forcing him to have to log off his account in order to read your posts?
And the forum, literally by virtue of having a block function, makes it so that specifically in this space, they have the right to bar you from interacting with them in any way,
Well yes, but the discussion is about whether the forum should be doing that or not.
including seeing their posts (bugs aside), and you have no right to view or otherwise interact with someone who has blocked you.
But you do have the right to view posts from someone that has blocked you as long as you log out first. I also believe we should have that right simply because this is a public forum
Just like if this were a building, and it had rooms with locks, and the management allowed people to say, “frank can’t come into this room while I’m using it” as a specific policy, Frank would have no recourse when barred from entering a room.
This is a public forum. It's more like standing on a public street corner and being able to force Frank to leave the street corner you are on just because you are on it. You should have no expectation of being able to do that with Frank and you should have no expectation of being able to do that here.
In fact you can't. The best you can do is inconencience someone that tries to read what you are saying.
So most importantly, why do you think you need the right to inconvenience others by leaving the only option of reading your posts after you block them as logging out? What purpose does that really serve?
