A Wicked Kendragon
Not me. And it's not all that old. This is an old thread but Jonesy revived it..
But it did just occur to me that I didn't see anyone mention the new Carmen Sandiego, which is an excellent show.

Netflix's Voltron has 2 girls on the main team and they kick some serious butt. Allura is the physically strongest member of the team even.

It was four hours old when I posted. My initial reaction was that you had Ulfgeir on ignore for some reason, but now you also copied what he said about Inspector Gadget in that very post, so now I really don't know what to think. It seems a few weeks old at the least.
It has educational elements just like all the other incarnations of the show. On top of that, and unlike the previous versions, the new one has a straight hero in the leading role (where many of the previous ones could be said to have featured an anti-hero type). If you saw the first two episodes, then you also saw the clever swap that they do from old to new.Anyway, yeah Carmen Sandiego! Saw the first two episodes and it was great... but I'm not sure it fits a 4 years old.

Dora the Explorer!
'90s X-Men cartoon was pretty gender balanced (not Wolverine dominated) but aimed at older children.
