I did purchase the books for young readers Wizards recently published (the "Choose Your Own Stories" series as well as the Young Adventurers' Guides) so they have access to the material. That said, I also purchase a lot of Christian fiction and religious-themed books. I try to provide balance in the collection.
But since I'm not going to host a "roleplaying games are wicked" program to accompany a potential D&D program, I can't claim the same balance. And knowing it's a hot button issue to me (having grown up during the Satanic Panic), I know I can't be impartial in those programs.

Impartiality doesn't mean providing both sides of an argument equal time, or even valuing both arguments equally. It means not making a judgment call on other's behalf, while presenting both sides in their factual light.

You're well within your rights to say "No that's dumb and nothing you say is true, you don't get a platform" as an impartial response to people saying dumb things that are objectively false.

If you think about it a court case, at least in the common law system, the judge is supposed to be an impartial arbiter. That doesn't mean they are obligated to let one side say all kind of stupid things four hours and hours just because they are supposed to remain impartial. Judge can and do regularly shut down stupid arguments because it wastes time, does nothing to further a court case, and they know the side make stupid arguments is wrong.

In all seriousness the satanic panic largely died with the McMartin preschool case. People went to jail 4 years on trumped up obviously false charges. When that case fell apart on live television in Los Angeles did people finally calm down

Is Satanic Panic a uniquely American phenomena. are any other countries affected?

(I know theres a local ‘Cult Watch’ in my country but nothing thats ever appeared in any mainstream media or conciousness)

Well, at minimum Martin Scorsese and Francis Ford Coppola.
