D&D 5E Chris Perkins drops 2020 hint!

I am thinking about other thing.

Ravenloft could be a true smashing-hit. Universal Pictures would love to work with a franchise like this, like a reboot of its classic gothic horror movies. Do you bet will we see any paranormal romance set in the demiplane of the dread?

Other option could be to use the Masque of the Red Death as a setting to produce its equivalent to the movie of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

* Other matter is about some players asking to can use firearms from d20 Past.

* Do you think will we see a reboot of the setting, with all matter about the gran conjunction? What about lord Sorth and Sithicus?

* I also imagine the setting bigger like a complete planet, not "small" as Europa. Why? Because I would like to add a lot of paranormal factions (vampire clans, werewolves lodges and those things) and the previous demiplane of dread was too small to be a Jurassic Park for the monster from the Hammer Films.

Dude... I would love to see Lord Soth in a live action movie. Strahd is just a dracula clone, so meh, but many of the other Domain Lords are super fun.

I loved playing in the Masque setting and thing something like that would be fun. It's probably Ravenloft II though ;)

I’d rather not see another Ravenloft adventure. So, if the next Adventure Path is some kind of return to the domains of dread, I’ll not be buying it.

Now, if said adventure is an update to Desert of Desolation, as others here have wished, I probably will buy it.

Chris is such a tease.

Desert of Desolation would be great, as Pharoah is an amazing adventure. It's also a gateway into Al-Qadim, perhaps, or expanding the map of the Forgotten Realms.

That said, this tease gives me hope for Dragonlance. According to the Gamehole Con interview, the Eberron book is selling very well, so WotC must be looking at other classic settings. I imagine Dragonlance is at the top of the list. It's a good vehicle to introduce mass combat and other new rules. I imagine Guild Adepts and AL could provide some inspired adventure content.
