They have Mandalorian episodes in the cartoons.
Yeah, I wasn't as big a fan.

In this it seems mysterious. Full of helmets and cool armor forging scenes. In the clone wars the pacifistic society vs radical violent group was fine I guess, but definitely didn't pique my interest as much.

Edit: Oh I should say I haven't gotten to Rebels yet, but I hear good things.

Rebels has Sabine and she's cool. There's lots of throwbacks to the cartoons in this show.

I don't think that many people watched Rebels. And I think I want a baby Yoda plushie.

That would be hard to do, since the Mandalorian takes place five years after return of the Jedi, and thus five years after Boba Fett dies

Fett survived in legends materials and in the new canon they refuse to confirm or deny if he is alive.

In the latest episode one of the Mando's in the back ground was wearing very very similar armor with the little antenna Fett has.

It's not hard to retcon Fett surviving. One of them looked very similar but it was hard to see.

I managed to predict the other Mando's getting involved, but yeah that's what I'm asking there were two shots of Fett like Mando. The episode also recanonized some legends material as well.

so some bad news BREAKING: Baby Yoda Has Died

MATMATA, Tunisia Close sources from within The Mandalorian production team solemnly reported today that breakout star Baby Yoda died while filming on location in Tunisia.

According to those familiar with the situation, Baby Yoda was waddling in the sand, innocently and adorably, when a large European honey buzzard swooped down and grasped the lovable little alien with its powerful, horrible talons. With a loud screech, the honey buzzard then darted through the air, carrying the helpless, defenseless Baby Yoda with it.

“I really wish the force was real,” said one witness, a gaffer on-set who saw the whole ordeal. “Then maybe Baby Yoda could have fought back.”

“But it isn’t, so he couldn’t,” The witness then added, sighing. “The force isn’t real, and now Baby Yoda is gone.”

The cast and crew are reportedly baffled by this turn of events.

“Baby Yoda was pretty important to the plot of the show, actually,” said one writer interviewed for comment. “We’re not totally sure where we’re going to take it now. Maybe we’ll do something with midichlorians?”

“Maybe we’ll replace Baby Yoda with a baby gungan or something fun like that,” the writer continued. “Honestly, we’ll probably just skip the middleman and stuff a funko pop in that floating crib and call it a day.”

Baby Yoda is survived by his costar, closest friend, and personal confidant, Werner Herzog.

Point, actors in the right age group for Fett as well.

Fett got some screen time in The Clone Wars as well (would recommend that as well). Fett would be 38 approx in this timeline.
I was trying to be silly. The Mandalorian is not Boba Fett. His backstory as a "foundling", rather than as a clone, has already been established in the first couple of episodes.

However, in episode 3 the Mandalorian gets kinda jealous of another character who does have a jetpack, and says, "I've got to get one of those!"

Also, the Mandalorian's ship, the Razor Crest, is waaaay cooler than Slave-1. Yeah, I'm going there.

I'm pretty confident Boba Fett is still digesting in the Sarlacc's stomach on Tatooine. None of the Mandalorians in this new show are Boba Fett.

The titular Mandalorian himself isn't Boba Fett either, of course . . . . but he most certainly is Fett's spiritual successor. Fett himself is not needed, and having him pop back into the story would be silly and irritating.

The only thing Fett had going for him anyway was a cool outfit and a reputation for disintegrations. Our new Mandalorian has all of that and he's a badass to boot! With a soft spot for baby aliens, awwww . . .
