Maybe around a 1d6 to start? Monk is 1d4+3, but the monk's main action attack probably won't be as strong. Help action as attack makes sense, but it would be generally inferior to granting another attack.
I like it. I’d also say, the help action could have a bonus, and could be combined with granting an attack to let the marshal grant an attack at advantage. Also, since you're doing it as part of the attack action, it still triggers anything that triggers off the attack action.

I was thinking I like the idea of the vanguard, specifically, using his action at 5+ level to grant an additional bonus when he grants an attack, but he can't sacrifice two attacks like some other subclasses. Something like, "When you use your Marshal Teamwork feature (any name suggestions here would be great, I'm stumped) to grant an ally an attack, the granted attack gains advantage if it's against an enemy you're adjacent to."

I think something like that (an upgrade to the feature that grants attacks) would make sense as a 6th level subclass feature. Then the action cycle for the tier 2 vanguard is make one attack, grant one attack with advantage, use bonus action to grant bonus damage or spend TP on additional feature.

One thing I haven't really seen mentioned in any of these threads that if any class can do it, it should be the warlord, is to have a way to reduce exhaustion in an ally.
I think that makes sense. Removing exhaustion is a fairly powerful ability; it takes a 5th level spell, although the spell has more utility than just removing exhaustion. So the value cost is around a 4th-5th level spell slot. Might make sense as 7th or 9th level class feature, I'm not sure whether it would better as a once per long rest additional resource provided by the feature, or just make it cost 4-5 TP and only be usable on a target once per long rest per target.

@lowkey13

Just out of curiosity, is this thread movable? This is a pretty low-traffic forum.

Since the move to the new forum software, my default viewing setting isn’t even by forum anymore. It is by community, which lists all threads, regardless of forum, in order of last post.

so while before I may never have visited a forum and missed threads, now I see all of them with equal bias.

Couple of basic questions:
How are you dealing with 'maneuvers'?
Are they set abilities? - Things that are spelled out in the class and subclass at specific levels?
Or are they picks from a list? Like 4-elements monk or BM fighter, but perhaps increasing power gated by level? - With perhaps some subclasses getting bonuses to specific maneuvers?

The 'magical' subclass - is this going to cast spells?
Or is this going to grant an ally the ability to cast a spell/give bonuses to allies' spells etc?

There seems to be a bit of reliance on having other martial characters in the party in a lot of the discussion that I've seen.
