D&D 5E Zards Ban List?

I'm thinking ahead to the next campaign and are looking at removing some things.

The short list of broken stuff.

Sharpshooter
Great Weapon Master

These two feats obsolete the other fighting styles IMHO. I have an additional 40 or 50 feats to replace them with so more options.

Healing Spirit
Almost had a NC life cleric1/druid XYZ. Obsoletes all the other magical healing.

Races
Not so much banned but the theme is probably gonna be pirates. I need some major nation's though. Campaign will be built from the ground up.

Dragonborn. More or less in or replaced with Dragonkin from Midgard. Either way they'll be a force.

Gnomes.
No one's gonna play one. Probably won't be banned but no major status for them.

Tieflings.
Even pirates have standards and it's not going to be an evil campaign. Probably allow them but I doubt anyone will pick one.

Drow.
Planning on having not nice elves as the default. They're in decline so Drow in the traditional sense won't really fit. Still probably allow them but see gnomes.

These are the races I'll probably replace with something else like Hobgoblins, Minotaurs and Yuan Ti.

You could change them from flat -5/+10 to -Proficiency/2x Proficiency. So at 1st it's only -2/+4. I've found that works to bring some of the swinginess of the feats down at my tables.
These are the races I'll probably replace with something else like Hobgoblins, Minotaurs and Yuan Ti.

Love me some Minotaur sailor/reavers! I have an entire island of them on my homebrew setting :)

Yeah the Minotaur/Island thing seems to be strong
Can't imagine where they got idea from.
 


Curious as to why PAM isn't included.




...and Paladins. Gnomes and Paladins should be banned together like Siegfried and Roy.

PAM is on par with say XBE and some of the new feats I'm adding. For example there's a feat that leats you stack are and dex with light weapons. Good with daggers and short swords.

Also without being able to combo PAM without GWM helps. Also not to many magical polearms.
 




Yuan-Ti is a powerful race, their straight up immunity to poison combined with their magic resistance is too much IMO.
Dropping their magic resistance completely makes them balanced with other (non-monstrous) races.

Other than that I don't see many issues

I normally don't allow them but they're going to be important this campaign. On the fence about it for the reasons in your post.
