D&D 5E Odysseus Sails Towards The Mythological Figures Kickstarter!

Mythological Figures & Maleficent Monsters is just over two weeks away! The book is done, we're waiting for a proof copy, and the Kickstarter will be for the print run. As always, we'll be fulfilling immediately. In the meantime, here's one of the last previews we'll be doing before launch. As always, be sure to sign up to be notified of the launch...

Although we were planning this hardcover long, long before we ever heard about Theros, WotC's upcoming release is very well timed to accompany our book! Other Greek figures which appear in the 230 pages here include Achilles, Antaeus, Arachne, Atalanta, Cerberus, Circe, Hercules, Hippolyta, Penthesilea, Perseus, and Talos.

By "KS ends," do you mean when you receive the funds from KS? Or, do you mean when the pledging phase of the KS campaign ends?
Our previous Kickstarters over the last several years have run like this:

1) Kickstarter campaign ends.
2) Several minutes later I finish sending out the digital rewards.
3) 2 weeks later, Kickstarter finishes collecting funds, and I place the orders for the physical books.

but, just to avoid people complaining if they have to wait two weeks...

Not that that has ever happened, but that would literally be people complaining they've not gotten their rewards before they've actually paid for them. I can't imagine anybody doing that. Despite that, yes, they do get their rewards before they've technically paid for them. I send the digital rewards out straight away. Kickstarter ends round about midnight, I'm there hammering away at the keyboard to see if I can do it faster than I did the last time. :)

It's a reputation we've worked hard on over several years -- we fulfill Kickstarters immediately.

I believe Kickstarter collects the funds from backers as soon as the campaign ends... I am pretty patient with KS projects... heck, Marmoreal Tomb is more than 4 years overdue, and pretty sure I haven't complained once. Out of the 96 projects I have backed, that one is the most overdue. Amazingly, I think they have all come through so far (I am pretty confident that Marmoreal Tomb will come through now that Troll Lord Games has taken it over).

Maybe to collect them all... they always seem to collect mine within minutes of the campaign ending...
From the other end, it takes two weeks to collect them all. It’s a lot of countries, and rejected payments being chased up etc. KS tries to collect for two weeks, then totals it up and sends the creator what they got (less fees - the total of fees and failed pledges comes to about 10% fairly consistently). The project creator gets paid two weeks after the campaign ends.

I know it takes two weeks for creators to get paid... just saying that probably most backers will be ca

My point was just that some (most) backers probably pay for the KS way before the 2 weeks has passed.

And, I am guessing that KS has payment processors in different countries... when I was charged for the Trudvang campaign, I was charged a "cross-border" fee by my bank. This has happened a few times. Luckily, it is a small fee ($0.69 in this case).
