For along time I was worried that if one of these board game does really well, the Hasbro would drop the ttRPG like a hot rock.

I think we're finally past that possibility ... for now.

The map is practically a "raidcoal". I would rather something like Hero-Quest where I felt I was really exploring a labyrinth where to choose among different paths, and earning gold-coins to buy better item was close to a no-milestone leveling up.

I miss Hero-Quest and my wish is a "spiritual sucesor". Sometimes I have suggested the name "Endless Quest". At least they could try with a mobile game to test the reaction of the market.

I'm holding out hope for Blacklist Games Altar Quest (which should be in my grubby hands in the next month or so). There's I think still one day to pick up a copy on Kickstarter (if you back their Fantasy Miniatures project and select Altar Quest as an add-on).
I love dungeon crawlers. This one (along with the adventure system games) just don't seem to cut it. (This one doesn't even have a good selection of miniatures.)

Hopefully better than Wrath of Ashardalon, which is the only D&D game I've played. Oh yeah, Dungeon too, if that counts.

Wrath was dreadfully boring, both to myself and my daughters. They really liked Dungeon, though.

A Title Much Cooler Than Anything on the Old Site
I'll pick it up. My kids are not really into the full TTRPG and the D&D Adventure System Cooperative play board games are a bit too fiddly and long. This looks like a more casual way to play something D&D flavored with my kids.

This looks a great intro for kids! Shame mine are still way too young. I might pick it up and stash it somewhere for a few years!
