Loved, loved the podcast. I missed Fridays exercise so to make up for it I went out this morning and listened to the podcast when normally I'd listen to the episode on Mondays. (As Peter alluded to that many listeners probably do) Loved the whole conversation about how to handle the difficulty of racism in a rpg. As an older white male I find myself spending a lot of time being stressed and worried about stepping on a mine and offending someone accidently. So a game like "Jiangshi Blood in the Banquet Hall" fascinates me but at the same time makes me extremely nervous.

The creativity and ideas behind it are wonderful and something I think we need to see more of. I just feel like I'd buy it and never play it because I'd be worried to a point of stressful meltdown potential, that I'd do something wrong and be the guy bearing the focus of anger. Anyhow, thanks for the podcast, it was well done and the creators were very enjoyable to listen to.

Edit: went and backed the deluxe copy of the game, it just looks so fun and interesting.

It was a game that Banana suggested on the show as a Chinese-themed cyberpunk game, IIRC.

Right, I got that and heard it mentioned in the podcast. I just don't get his reply to my quote. Again, maybe I'm being dense here. I even asked my wife in case I am just indeed being dense and she didn't get his point either. Anyhow, I went and backed their kickstarter to snag a deluxe edition because we both thought it was a really creative and interesting idea. Thanks for the reply Russ regardless. (y) :)

I think this may be on me because I thought it was one of the options in the Scenario Book pending stretch goals. I suggested it under that assumption it is or will be available as an alternative setting to 1920s America.

Morrus
