Also, I like how now that Love/Unity/Peace is the "same" domain but technically/officially refluffed. You can do it like this in regards to how to treat them.
"Love"(or reflavored as Obsession) is evil
Unity is Good
Peace is overall neutral.

I really strongly dislike them changing the class in a way that hurts melee focused Bladesingers. That's the point of the subclass.
I agree, but I think the change to extra attack will balance it out. Again, it depends on what a typical adventuring day looks like at your table, but I think these changes will make bladesingers better melee combatants when bladesong is active, they just might not be able to keep it active as consistently if they are used to a lot of encounters per day and regular short rests.

It certainly changes how I would think about building a bladesinger. Instead of counting on being able to have bladesong up most of the time and building around that, I would try to build one that expected to switch modes based on the situation.

Friendship is Magic, and Magic is Heresy.
While we're wondering things, I wonder what happens if a Fighter11/Bladesinger6 has both Extra Attack (2) and Extra Attack (BS)?

I'm curious about the Beast of the Sea and what it's like.

Could we make use of True Strike or Blade Ward?
That'll be the day! I'll be surprised if those waste of page space actually see usage for once.

There’s nothing about this book that makes me want to buy it. Nothing sounds exciting, nothing makes me want to play. It’s just a bunch of... stuff.

Well it's an everything book, of course it's just a bunch of stuff. You gotta want stuff to be excited for it.

Well, unity and peace are the same but refluffed. Love had a pretty different set of spells.

It sounds like the bladesinger might just get a feature that lets them cast a cantrip in place of one of their attacks. So I would assume a fighter 11/wizard 6 with the bladesinger subclass would be able to make two attacks and cast one cantrip or three attacks.

There is no grandfather clause in 5e. They could write that one too though. They could say in the new book in a sidebar, "DMs, if existing characters were using these two cantrips with the warcaster feat prior to this errata, you should consider allowing that character to continue to use them in that manner, and it will be legal in AL for existing characters to do so." But we both know they're not going to do that.
I have no knowledge of what will or will not be in the book. I did see a bit of a podcast hosted by Greg Tito..with Jeremy Crawford. Both the host and the guest emphasized that rules in this book are optional.

I do not use DDB, so if DDB is treating this optional product as a System patch, and the SCAG versions will no longer be available, then in that case, I would be Nonplused...at D&D Beyond.

Hasbro has never sent armed thugs to enforce/ensure that "you are playing right."...
....well not yet .

That is a pretty good description of Life in general.

George Carlin had a solid 30 minutes, easy on everything..being a bunch of stuff.
