D&D General X4 Master of the Desert Nomads (B/X) now available for print on demand!

Wizards of the Coast has released a print on demand option for X4 Master of the Desert Nomads for $9.99 over on DrivethruRPG.

Originally released in 1983, I tagged this as being for B/X because, while that's the same year that Frank Mentzer released the revised Basic Set and Expert Set, this adventure was written by David "Zeb" Cook, co-creator of the 1981 Expert Set with Steve Marsh. That's relevant since the "X" in the module code stands for "Expert."

This is the latest book to be given a print on demand option from WotC, following B7 Rahasia (BECMI) and DLT2 Book of Lairs (Dragonlance 2E). Other recent releases include DLS4 Wild Elves (Dragonlance 2E), Greyhawk: The Adventure Begins (Greyhawk 2E), WGM1 Border Watch (Greyhawk 2E), The Book of Lairs (Forgotten Realms 2E), AC10 Bestiary of Dragons & Giants (BECMI), Halls of Undermountain (4E), the War Captain's Companion (Spelljammer), PC3 Creature Crucible: The Sea People (BECMI), Volo's Guide to the Sword Coast (Forgotten Realms 2E), Volo's Guide to Waterdeep (Forgotten Realms 2E), Volo's Guide to Cormyr (Forgotten Realms 2E), the Dark Sun Boxed Set (the original one for AD&D 2E), Campaign Option: Council of Wyrms, and the Planescape Campaign Setting.

They really should have done both of them as PoD at the same time. Just X4 on its own leaves things feeling unfinished.

and then the Master popped up again in X10 Red Arrow, Black Shield, where whoever illustrated him made him look a lot like Ayatollah Khomeini....

but yeah, it's nice to see this flurry of PODs on DTRPG all of a sudden....
