Monopoly is a selfish board game, not co-operative, not even adversarial like a war game, just plain greedy, but can still be fun in small doses played occasionally.

Monopoly is a terrible board game. Giving it a D&D or a Star Wars skin doesn't make it any better. There's a reason I haven't played it since I was about 12, and that's that since it was published nearly century ago there have been thousands of better boardgames made.
