D&D 5E Dungeons and Dragons WotC survey August 9th, 2021

Right, you missed about half the survey. It was a WotC survey, which included questions about both of their major IPs in roughly equal proportions.

Made the mistake of saying I'd played MTG.....I played like three times, but I kept getting MTG questions, no matter how many I skipped. So, ya, not going to do that one.

Which is not what I want in a DND survey. I want it to be about DND.

It's a survey about MtG, D&D, and how they relate. You didn't have a relevant opinion on two thirds of the survey, so they didn't ask.

I was expecting less generic, more useful and yes more interesting questions.

Ok, went back in and said I'd never played MTG.......and told them what I always do. Love DnD, 5e is fine, but I liked (especially the monsters) 4e better.

Weird, after I answered my age and gender, the survey asked for my marital status and if I wanted to get coffee some time. When I answered that I was married and just wanted to be friends, it started asking me some really aggressive questions about my personality, looks, and habits. Eventually I agreed to get coffee with the survey, just to smooth things over, but then the survey just wanted to talk about Magic the Gathering, which I don't play. Finally, the survey unfriended me on Facebook.

Did that happen to anyone else???

I told them that I used to play magic and that I have played D&D. I received several questions about M:TG (e.g. favorite colors, how I have played it, when I played it last, how I prefer to play it, how do i think it is doing, and would i recommend it). Then, l received questions about D&D (e.g. what editions I have played, which edition I started with, favorite classes, favorite races, if I DM and when when did I start, how likely I am to recommend 5e and, (based on my answer) why I am likely not to recommend it (despite liking much of the free basic rules), etc.)
