D&D 5E Experimental new formats

I agree it could come in a box set, but I doubt it would come in a really expensive one like a Cook one. I can't see them releasing a box that is more than $70, and even that is pushing it.
Yeah, I agree. I just used that as an example of how the "old" box set could be formatted in a "new" way.

But the new format thing stumps me. I guess it is a surprise to look forward to...hopefully!

Anything linked with virtual tabletop? Something more than a PDF or a videogame, with a file pack, and this could be like a "key-code" to can be used in other titles, for example skins in Fortnite, or monsters for CORE (metaverse videogame).

Or a videogame with NFC (near field communication) figures, like Spyro Skylanders, Disney Infinity, Ninento Amiboo and Lego Dimensions. You buy a miniature, but with this a pdf with the stats of the creature/character, for all editions, and a skins for different videogames.

Hasbro believes the future is digital.

They said it isn't primarily digital. And while you may be a fan of mashing up properties and platforms, them doing such is unlikely. WotC's not in the business of selling things for other people's game engines.

D&D Pop Up Books?
Landscape rather than Portrait Layouts?
Single-Sided Printings? (256 pages with text on only one side!)
Wingding Font?

The possibilities are endless!

There's a thread in this very forum about the leaked listing of a $165 WotC product...

Lol, I'm the one who started that thread!

I really mean more of a box with entirely new material, not one that is a bundle. Or a revamp, like Curse of Strahd Revamped.

I just meant it as a pushback on the price limit. They are willing to have items more than $70.
