TSR Whatever Happened To TSR's Michael?

My purpose for coming on was just to say hi, and maybe clear the air a little. I have nothing to do with the fake twitter accounts, I know they exist but have not been following them. I was taught that if you give a bully attention it will get worse so I ignore them.

TSR did not rebrand to Wonderfilled. We aren’t affiliated with Wonderfilled and parted ways as of the press release effective Thursday, July 8, 2021. TSR Cuts Ties with Wonderfilled Inc.

If anyone is interested in knowing what TSR is really all about you can find out on the about us page https://tsr-hobbies.com/about-us on the website, and from there you can join us on discord and have conversations with us if you wish etc...

Thanks for the productive suggestions, I appreciate good feedback.

Wait...what's this "#PlayAsYouWish" hashtag?

It sounds innocuous, but it also sounds like code for chainmail bikinis and racial stereotypes.

update: I just googled it, which brought me to TSR's Twitter feed. So, uh, yeah.
If you check their About Us page, it links to the Wikipedia article on "artistic freedom", which is... certainly a red flag for something.
Oh Michael... you were our only hope!
This is normally where I'd post the Tara Banks "we were rooting for you!" gif but... were we? I certainly wasn't.

That is just a start. Do others have productive suggestions for what could be done to make the trek back into a place of acceptance in the broader gaming community?
With regard to engagement in this thread:

It's good that Michael is trying to engage the community, but the short, evasive responses are not doing TSR(3) any favors. They come across as defensive; they stoke anger instead of defusing it. And blocking people? Really?

Most of ENWorld is very unhappy with TSR(3) right now. It is not easy to win over people who are currently mad at you. To do so, you have to start from the position that their reasons for being mad at you are valid, acknowledge them, and address them. If you can't or don't want to do that, you aren't going to win anyone over, and you're just wasting everyone's time to try.

Above all, you can't go in with a mindset that you're going to defend your past actions. Those are the actions that made people mad at you in the first place.

Even if they do not, the advice may be of use to others down the road.
Yeah, I'm not really expecting my comments above--or anyone else's--to result in anything productive from TSR(3). And I don't much care; even if they hadn't burned every bridge under the sun, I doubt I'd be interested in buying what they're selling. It's more about the thought exercise of "What should a company in this position do?" and working out my own ideas on the subject.

The decision to include the hashtag that Michael elected to use indicates they are not, at this time, on the right path, and instead are continuing to bury themselves deeper. I hope they learn from the mistakes they continue to make.

I love how he calls them “the fake Twitter accounts.” They can’t even keep their stories straight. Was it all the previous social media manager, or were their accounts hacked, or were they fake accounts.
